Most blokes don't think of bags when they are advised to accessorize; but don't panic, I'm not talking about walking round with something that vaguely resembles that bag your girlfriend has been dropping hints for over the past couple of months.

No, I'm talking about something much more manly-the rucksack.

You may be instantly cast back to your school days, lugging books around with you in a two strap bag, one of which was never, ever used (because that just was NOT cool).

How times change. Thanks to the huge popularity of 'geek chic' if you're wearing not wear your backpack with both straps, hosted up as close to your neck as possible, then, well. You're just not one of the cool kids anymore, are you?

So what style backpack should you be looking for? Hiking style is set to be a huge trend for the coming winter, and nothing says 'I'm more adventurous than Bear Grylls' than a full on hiking style rucksack.

Don't worry, no ones going to expect you to walk round carrying rope and rocks in your bag. Remember, this is all for show, so you could stuff it with whatever you like. We'd recommend bobble hats. Lots and lots of bobble hats.
