Pretty Green A/W'16

The latest Pretty Green drop for A/W'16 is now available and there are a choice of new and exciting designs as well as old signature classics such as the Lennon Jacket and the Grandad T-Shirt to name but a few.

A brand that skims over like-minded British subcultures and incorporating the looks into their clothing range, focusing heavily on British heritage and musical influences through time; in particular referencing The Who, The Jam and The Beatles and such alike. Taking poignant styles from the 60's and 70's and offering a 21st century twist, the label create their own innovative trends within their collections.

With it's founder Liam Gallagher being one of the most influential people in the music business of today, it's not rocket science to generate the idea that a fashion label created by himself would take off. His signature look has inspired many to emulate and sport staple pieces such as bucket hats and parka jackets among many. The general interest in the brand from the like-minded has led the brand to the forefront of the indie-fashion scene and enabled the brand to win the Drapers Brand of the Year back in 2010. Pretty Green can firmly stick two fingers up to the critics who believed this would never succeed. 

The Sevenoaks Jacket is a new style from this season's drop and has been designed with both functional and practical purposes in mind as well as a removable hood liner, drawstring hemline and multiple pockets for storage. Available in three colours here.
The Lennon Jacket is a classic piece from the brand that returns each season in cotton and corduroy compositions. Named after the late John Lennon of whom wore similar military-style jackets, the army green coloured jacket is styled with shoulder epaulettes, a curved hem and a stand collar.
British heritage is a huge part of the brand and the Union Jack T-shirt depicts this with the vintage style 'brush stroke' print incorporating the Union Jack flag. A nod to the brand's British roots, the printed tee is one to watch this season.

The Pretty Green Black Label 

This sought after collection is the higher end range and reflects on signature moments in rock 'n roll history and the important characters of that time; a look at how each were influential and capturing this essence into a collection. Classic British tailoring is also a huge factor within Black Label, using fine fabrics and adding particular attention to detail which provide a sense of sophistication and luxury whilst still keeping things to it's casual best.

The Prubella Shirt has been decorated with a hand-illustrated rose print that has been designed in-house and finished with Australian Mother of Pearl buttons. The stand-out shirt is a statement piece to enter the A/W'16 range but a must-have all the same.
This new style of paisley print on the Paisley Print Polo Shirt features a more 'busy' approach to the design and displays subtle Pretty Green branding throughout. The black and red design is also available in a shirt variation which can be found here. This variation of paisley print designs are a signature style of Pretty Green and recognisable to the fan base. 
For a more subtle design, the Pretty Green Handel Long Sleeve T-Shirt is a design that focuses on a classic, laid-back approach to clothing with just a hint of paisley displayed to the interior neckline.  A great alternative to the bold printed clothing that appears in this latest collection, the Handel is a fine piece that is branded only by the chest badge and to the hemline. Many pieces have been created with these bold, stand-out prints, however this is balanced out with the relaxed tailoring within the collection as well as classic neutral pieces.
