Made In Chelsea

28th August 2014 | Posted in Womens & Footwear by Hollie Simpson

As we enter September and wince at the thought of Christmas ahead (where's our summer gone?!), the shorts and sandals thrown to the bottom of the wardrobe and chunky knits and boots make way to the front, a new old style boot makes a comeback, the Chelsea Boot. And it's suprising which well known brand have chosen to release such a shoe, though it makes a lot of sense; the festival-goer wellington boot favourites: Hunter.

Whilst we're all very familiar with the original tall Hunters, which have since expanded into various other styles and colours, Hunter have now jumped onto the trend bandwagon and released fashionable styles in the form of the classic Chelsea Boot. Available from in Black and Forest Green, the ankle boot is still produced in the water resistant natural rubber though are for a more general use. Alexa Chung, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding have all been seen in this very boot at this year's Glastonbury.

The greatest thing about these boots are their ability to be versatile in many situations. Though these celebs wore their Chelsea Boots to Glastonbury, the boot can be worn with skinny jeans and a top for a quirky every day style. This is great for the upcoming weather as the Hunters will also offer protection for your feet as well as being easily accessible to get on and off. Get them muddy, get them rained on, a simple wipe clean is all that is required. For an alternative Chelsea style boot, UGG have produced the leather Jo Boot which would look great with skinny jeans and a light cable knit jumper from Superdry
