It's that time of year again...prom time! Full of pretty frocks and sparkling accessories, you'll be sure to dazzle the night away. Dresses Prints and patterns are always a huge part of any fashion season, so don't let this be an exception when choosing the right dress for the big night. This season, designers such as Ted Baker have adorned their collections with both classic and reworked patterns. Their floral frocks have been featured against a backdrop of soft pastel shades for that renowned feminine feel as well as the flared and floaty style. For something similar to this, French Connection have released a much bolder, more fierce print with their Lucky Leaves Sleeveless Dress. For an alternative cut however, and something of higher end fashion, Michael Kors have used a chain metal belt for cinching in at the waist, a crossover, halterneck front and a waterfall length within a striking blue shade for their Elip Hem Dress. Shoes & Bags Its one thing choosing the right dress, but then there's the shoes and the bag; both of which are almost always matched with one another. Once again, Ted Baker have some great items available in a range of shades that can be easily put together with the perfect dress. Whether it be a printed floral combo, nude or black and gold by well known designers Michael Kors and Vivienne Westwood, selecting a colour all depends on the choice of dress. Use black and nude tones when a dress features a print or heavy embellishment as these two colours can be used as a blank canvas that will match with most other shades and enable the dress to be the standout piece.
