New Arrivals Pretty Green

11th February 2014 | Posted in Mens & Pretty Green

From rock and roll star, to fashion aficionado, the transformation of the infamous Liam Gallagher has been a rapid, riotous success story.

We all know him as the brash Oasis front man; who made a name for himself with some mind blowing moments on stage as well as off it: from spats with his brother, Noel (or ‘Rkid’ if your name’s Liam and you’re having a dig at him during an interview), to admitting that if he wasn't a musician, he reckons he would be god, there aren't too many things that Liam isn't prepared to take on.

So, after openly stating how much he hates ‘the skinny look’ of some of today’s bands, Liam decided to rattle a few more cages-and take on the fashion industry, by launching his own label that would cater to the clothes that he wants to wear.

Pretty Green was the result of Liam’s ingenuity, and was launched back in 2009. The years that followed have only seen it go from strength to strength, gaining a huge army of loyal fans, hanging on every thread of iconic design by the Gallagher led label- from bright paisley, to Lennon jackets and classic desert boots.

This season sees the return of Pretty Green, drawing breath from its regularly potent blend of music, culture and history to offer up a sought after serving of unique styles.

Pretty Green Lennon Jacket

As the name suggests, this jacket which has been tastefully finished in a fine cord, follows the famous style of Beatles legend John Lennon. Dual chest pockets, shoulder lapels and a military style neck make this the perfect chuck on jacket, and makes an amazing focal point for anyone’s wardrobe.

Pretty Green Addison Leather Biker Jacket

An ever present and timeless classic, the leather jacket is a versatile ally. This particular piece, designed with a biker influence thanks to its dual front zips and popper neck fastening, is made from supple soft leather giving it a luxurious feel. Finished off with an iconic Pretty Green paisley lining, it makes for the perfect lavish, laid back look.

Pretty Green Festival Jacket

Perhaps the perfect jacket for spring/summer, the Pretty Green festival jacket is back after a successful run. Lightweight and simplistic to wear, it makes for the perfect casual jacket, offering hooded protection as well as the iconic Pretty Green leather logo patch on the chest and full zip fastening.

Pretty Green Merton Paisley Print Shirt

The perfect example of Pretty Green interweaving their 60’s and 70’s music influences into their designs, the Merton shirt features a full all over paisley print. Instantly striking and timelessly cool, the paisley print is a major factor in a host of Pretty Green pieces. A button down collar completes the formality behind this shirt, which will look great worn alone, or layered up with a crew neck jumper.

Pretty Green New Twin Polo Shirt

A classic, honest style staple that has stood the test of time, the polo shirt is a relentlessly stylish piece that will never let you down. This design by Pretty Green incorporates some traditional polo shirt elements, from lightweight, breathable pique cotton, to a decorative twin tip on the collar. Perfect for casual wear, it is finished off with the round Pretty Green chest badge.

Pretty Green Paisley Logo Tee

The ultimate piece in casual Pretty Green style, this logo carrying tee is finished off with the iconic paisley pattern. This style has seen resurgence since its first appearance in some of the earliest Pretty Green collections- and we’re glad to see it back. Perfect for linking up with a pair of jeans and layering up with the Lennon jacket, you can’t go far wrong with this t-shirt hanging up in your wardrobe.
