Fancy yourself as a cool kid? Do you keep all your sneakers in their box? Or maybe you've just got a heavy obsession with acquiring the occasional cheeky cap or ten- either way, whether you're a seasoned pro at smashing your own interpretation of street style, or a new comer to one of the biggest trends going, we've chucked together this look to keep you on trend for the coming winter months.

Using a heady mix of brands with a strong heritage, developed by their roles as style icons in their own cultures, this look packs a punch when keeping you high and dry from the winter weather, but has all of the credentials to keep you in line with the fashion stakes.

Trainer Spotter Starter 5 Panel Polka Cap

We're going anti-Drake and starting from the top- nice and controversial, unlike this wicked piece of design by London based street wear addicts Trainer Spotter. We're sure you've spotted (pun intended) the link with the accessories in this look- Polka dots are definitely a thing of beauty to be rocking this season.

Finished on a classic 5 panel Starter Cap, this style gives you the chance to represent some truly individual design on a canvas supplied by one of head wear's finest labels.

Adidas Gazelle Forest Green OG Trainer

There's not many trainers knocking around that can lay claim to the serious level of heritage that a pair of Adidas Gazelle's have. If you're a sneaker head and like a bit of a back story to the trainers you're repping, a pair of Gazelle's should really be on your shoe rack. If you just appreciate a decent pair of kicks- then there really is no excuse not to have a pair of these on your feet.

Finished with the three stripe side branding, and the Adidas trefoil on the tongue, these Gazelle's are finished in a wicked green suede, perfect for the dark winter days.

In an era where trainer styles are coming and going faster than your local bus service, the Gazelle is part of an elite group that has remained as stylish as ever, thanks to its rich Adidas heritage.

Trainer Spotter Polka Daypack Backpack

Carrying on the polka dot link from the Starter Cap, Trainer Spotter have come up with a winner by creating this backpack to finish off an on trend theme. We could bore you now and tell you that this backpack's got loads of little zipped compartments (it has by the way), but we all know that that doesn't really matter when a bag looks this cool.

Whether you're off on holiday and need some easy to carry, on trend hand luggage, or need a new bag for Uni- or even if you just fancy having a polka dot patterned mass on your back (who doesn't?), this bag is right up your street.

Edwin ED-80 Slim Rodeo Wash Jeans

We're big advocates of raw denim here, especially during the winter months. However, there is always room for a decent washed denim in your wardrobe, and for a look like this, we reckon that the best shout is to go for the latter.

This pair of jeans comes from one of the daddy's of denim- Japanese label Edwin. These boys were the first denim brand to introduce stone washed and distressed jeans- so it's safe to say that they know exactly what they're up to when they craft a pair of jeans like this.

Finished in a slim fit, the ED-80 is a great cut. Bang on trend, all the features on this jean work; from the strong arm construction, to heavy pocket sacks and the Edwin tab on the back pocket; these go down as one of our favourite pairs of denims on line right now.

Carhartt Cranberry College Sweat

Another brand steeped in history, Carhartt have laid their roots in the world of work wear.

In recent years they've become a buzz word in street wear, with their relaxed fits, easy prints and American style aesthetic. It's a lethally good mix, that has put Carhartt on the map away from their work wear heritage.

The colour on this sweat is a great contrast against the navy of the jacket, and is set to be a huge shade for winter. With a looser fit, it's spot on for the street wear boys to hang over their skinny jeans too, whilst the white print gives that wicked state side look that we can only thank our friends across the pond for.

Penfield Kasson Navy Jacket

We've got a big love for Penfield here. Born in Massachusetts, this quirky little American outdoor brand has all the credentials to become anyone's favourite brand, but thanks to a niche development, it's still remained relatively under the radar, making it a seriously sought after label.

Fully waterproofed, with some brilliant features like a tartan lining and fleece pocket linings to keep your hands warm, this jacket is the godfather of all lightweight jackets.

It's available in a host of colours, but we've opted in for navy to give a stark contrast against the rich cranberry colour of the Carhartt sweat.
