Vivienne Westwood Anglomania

Vivienne Westwood has been one of Britain's best loved designers for decades now. If you've ever seen what she looks like, you'll know just how quirky and eccentric she is. Her pieces are worn by the rich and famous everywhere and one of the best ways to spot a Vivienne item is by noting the famous orb logo. In the past 10 years or so, the orb has become even more popular, in particular with jewellery. I personally love the sunglasses with the tiny orbs on the side.
The Vivienne Westwood Anglomania range launched in 1997. The collections are best known for merging her grunge influences with a touch of femininity. Think bold, statement pieces. The Anglomania range has since began to collaborate with well known brands such as Lee and Melissa shoes.
This shirt is smart, no fancy cut just a simple fitted design and is patterned with tiny orb logos everywhere. I'd wear this if I was wanting to look nice and smart to go somewhere. I don't normally wear shirts unless they're really dressed up, especially fitted ones but this one has a sort of coolness about it. They don't have it in my size though :(
If your wanting everyone to know your wearing a Vivienne Westwood t-shirt then this is for you as its practically screaming her name! Loud and proud! I would wear this with a simple pair of jeans. This also comes in a black version, I'm not sure which I prefer! Think the range of colours suit the black better in my opinion.
The collection's name is the front runner on this t-shirt, but its not all Anglomania glory, the orb is still featured but on the back of the top. A simple jeans and t-shirt combination is the perfect everyday wear when not needing to dress up. The stars on the t-shirt adds quirkiness, I've noticed stars have also been used on the men's t-shirts too. Check them out here.
The shoes in the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania X Melissa range are one of the most popular collaborations they've done. The rubber shoes are quite symbolic now and are a bit of a collectors item. This pair look simple from the bottom but then Vivienne has added her eccentric twist on top with a giant ruffled bow. The shoes are scented as well so they're never going to smell! Love the leopard print sole as well!
This pair of jeans are Vivienne Westwood Anglomania X Lee. Cooperating with Lee has enabled them to pair a good quality jean with their input in design and brand name. This red colour is different, wouldn't necessarily suit everyone but the orb detail on the back pocket really stands out nicely in gold. These also come in shorts.
We're going to be getting more in this range in the upcoming weeks. I suspect more big, bold prints, orbs, orbs and more orbs and quirky designs daring to be different!
