The end of season sale has now landed and most brands now have at least 25% off their original price. So to make the most of the sale and making it that little bit easier to shop, we're giving you a heads up on some of those hidden gems out there that are just waiting to be bought for that upcoming festival! Be sure to be quick, as once it's gone, it's gone! Shop the sale here or continue forward with the blog for tips on festival outfit pieces for less featuring your favourite brands including Barbour, Superdry, Ted Baker, Hunter & French Connection....

1. Hunter

Hunter still remains the most popular wellington of choice for the festival season as it always seems to rain when you attend a festival, always! First seen sported on the likes of Kate Moss at Glastonbury back in 2005 in her Pete Doherty days (fast forward to 2013 sporting her Matchless!), Hunter have since gained global recognition and seen on many a celebrity come festival time. Opt for a matte, dark shade for that cool, understated look or stand out in the crowd in a colour poppin' powder blue hue as seen below.
This summer, Hunter bring fresh, innovative designs in the form of the Original Short Fringe Boot and a chunky heeled variation, offering that combination of festival glam and practicality!

2. Barbour Jacket

Barbour jackets have been a British favourite for some time now and it's easy to see why. Constructed from a waxed cotton, a Barbour will see you through season after season without becoming dated or too worn. The waxed coating will protect against wear and tear and can also be re-waxed when needed, meaning the jacket is a total investment buy! It's become somewhat of a cliche that a Parka is the festival jacket of choice. The Barbour Wharfe Wax Jacket (see below) ticks all the boxes with it's olive tone and slender, feminine fit, whereas the Mercia Camo Jacket offers an alternative style in a lightweight cotton.

3. Superdry

For a cute pair of denim shorts this season, look no further than Superdry. Choose from a style of hot pant and denim shorts with pretty embroidered detailing. Denim shorts look great with a pair of wellies, but if you want to cover up a little more, leggings are also an affordable option. (Tip: take a pair of legging with you to sleep in at night - it may be hot in the day, but it's sure freezing at night!) Another popular choice is a playsuit. This Superdry Festival Print Playsuit is bang on trend with it's aztec/tribal print - you will see lot's of this over the summer period. A great option for packing lightweight and minimal, the only downside being the toilet situation! Argh!

4. Accessories

It's easy to inform someone that they should pack essentials only, keeping things to a minimum but hey, we're girls, what does anyone expect? Eliminating products from your makeup collection is so difficult when all you keep thinking is that you will need an alternative colour lipstick each day and that a highlighter is most definitately an essential! Well fear not, for the Ted Baker Mishley Distinguishing Rose Large Wash Bag is the perfect size to store just that extra bit more than the basic essentials. It's also waterproof which is a bonus, meaning mud can simply be wiped clean! Not to mention how pretty it is! (Love the print? See more from the Distinguishing Rose collection here).

Another essential is a pair of sunglasses. Ray-Bans are a popular choice each season, but if you're looking for something different, see Michael Kors, Vivienne Westwood and Chloé - a new addition to Masdings.com - offering a small piece of luxury when slumming it! Act now while the sale is on for that 25% discount!
